  • SENIOR TALLY CLERK

    Job Description: 
    • Minimum Secondary School with proven numeric skills.
    • Must have worked in Middle eastern Ports with a complete comprehension of ship's manifests , outturn reports, condition of cargo, preparation Damage Cargo Reports Shift Summary Sheets.
    • Able to collate tally sheets and match to Manifest and/or Bills of Lading.
    • Must be able to provide accurate daily works reports and finalize documents on completion of Stevedoring operations for each vessel prior vessel departing the Ports of Ras Laffan.
    • Gets the outturn reports and other records signed by the vessel.
  • RIGGER FOREMAN

    Job Description: 
    • Minimum Secondary School with rigging certificates.
    • Understanding of ship gear, equipment and gang make­up for various cargoes.
    • Knowledge of safety and accident prevention measures.
    • Working knowledge of English and the language spoken by the gangs.
    • He conducts cargo operations in coordination with flagman and riggers.
    • Checks the condition of slings to ensure prompt replacement in case of damages.
  • GEAR LOCK SUPERVISOR

    Job Description: 
    • Minimum Secondary School with rigging certificates.
    • Must have thorough knowledge of all lifting equipment, their upkeep and maintenance.
    • Must be able to keep records up to date on test certification, ensuring test certificates are renewed timeously as well as records of gear issued and returned.
    • Must have previously worked in a middle East port or other reputed port in a similar position.
    • Fluent in English & fair Arabic.
  • SHIFT SUPERVISOR

    Job Description: 
    • Minimum High School graduate with certificates in rigging.
    • Knowledge of Stevedoring planning, ship-board operations and marine safety regulations.
    • Ability to manage and communicate effectively with workforce.
    • Shall be able to communicate in English.
    • Must have previously worked in a Middle East port or other reputed port in a similar position.
    • He will be required to coordinate the entire operations onboard by checking the stowage of cargo and needs to coordinate with ship's officers very closely.
  • CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

    Job Description: 
    • Graduate university level education with further education in the marine field.
    • Administer and coordinate all stevedoring activities in the Port and ensuring high level of service, efficiency and productivity.
    • Ability to plan, organize and respond to fast paced environment.
    • Fully fluent in English.
    • Must have previously worked in a Middle East port or other reputed port in a similar position.
    • The incumbent shall be responsible for managing the SERVICES, shall have overall oversight of the SERVICES and is answerable to QP for the performance of the SERVICES.
